While i was in Bangalore i was enchanted by the paintings i saw travelling with me wherever i went, I was so into it that i felt like studying them further so i formed my proposal based upon it. The basic idea was relaxation on road.

The proposal i formed was:

What is the theme or topic area that you are hoping to investigate in your research project?

Examine the way in which painting on the sides of road affect the character of the place as well as the mood of person travelling on it.

Can you identify two or more questions that the research will help you go some way towards answering?

Can we use this medium for advertisement or for promoting social causes?

Will it give the needful information to the illiterates.

Can these paintings distract the driver and cause accident or fix drivers mood and prevent accident.

In this age when people are switching from road to metro how much attention will it get?

Is this a feasible way to create employment for the local artist

Will it help in keeping the streets clean and hygienic or will people forget the effort and still go ahead and dirty the paintings.

How similar is the art of truck and match box is to the art of painting on road

What sort of approaches will you employ to collect data for your research enquiry?  For example, if you were going to interview students – how many would you interview? What sorts of themes would you be questioning them about?

What is the purpose of your research? Why is it useful?

For years, we have been travelling to our destinations. Travelling is the major and the most boring part of our day to day life. It tires us and makes us less productive. If there is something as interesting as wall paintings in your way to work you will reach to work every day awed and fresh and ready to work inspired!
